Everyone is invited to Kinsmen Day at the Zoo on Friday, June 28, 2013.  Free admission to the Zoo will be provided from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Please note parking, stroller, and fishing fees will still apply.

In lieu of admission, visitors are encouraged to donate a non-perishable food item to benefit the Saskatoon Food Bank.  Representatives from the Saskatoon Food Bank will be on site all day to receive donations and answer questions.
A variety of fun activities and entertainment is planned between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to keep the kids engaged.  In addition, the Saskatoon Zoo Society will have activities for children to learn more about the animals at the Zoo.

During your visit look for new Zoo animals this summer, including two new feature animals in the PotashCorp Ark exhibit and a White Beefalo!  This year also marks the 100th anniversary of the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo.  Millions of saplings and a hundred years later, this National Historic Site boasts carefully crafted garden spaces, restored heritage buildings, and Saskatchewan’s only CAZA-AZAC accredited zoo.  Approximately 225,000 visitors come annually to discover all that the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo has to offer!

Regular Zoo admission is $10 for adults, $6 for youth (6 to 18 years) and $20 for families.  For more information on the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo, please visit www.saskatoon.ca/go/zoo. For more City of Saskatoon Public Service Announcements, News Releases, Traffic Detours and Service Alerts, visitwww.saskatoon.ca or connect with the City of Saskatoon on Twitter and Facebook.
