It’s Saskatoon Public Library's 100th birthday, and how do you celebrate 100 years of library service? With a BIG birthday bash, of course! Join us at any of our eight locations on Saturday, May 25 from 1–4 p.m. and party with us! There’ll be popcorn, prizes (iPad minis), performances… and cupcakes! What’s a party without cupcakes?!
We are featuring performances by the Thunder Spirit International Dance Troupe, Stephen Maguire, Metis Hoop Dancer, Lawrence Roy Jr., Saskatchewan’s queen of the swing set scene, Sylvia Chave and fiddler James Steele. This free event is fun for the whole family! Visit Saskatoon library dot CA for all the party details (http://www.saskatoonlibrary.ca/letsparty).

LEAVES AND GRASS COLLECTION PROGRAM STARTS WEDNESDAY, MAY 8

The Leaves & Grass Collection Program has been rescheduled to start on Wednesday, May 8, 2013.

Subscribers originally scheduled for Leaves & Grass collections on May 6 and 7 are encouraged to place your green carts at the curb starting on May 8, and to leave them at the curb until they are collected, which could take up to one week.

If you have questions or concerns about a missed collection, please call 306-975-2486.

Residents are reminded that unbagged grass clippings and leaves can be taken, free of charge, to the McOrmond Drive and the Highway 7 and 11th Street Compost Depots. All materials are composted.
