APPLICATIONS FOR APPOINTMENT TO CIVIC BOARDS, COMMISSIONS, AND COMMITTEES BEING ACCEPTED

Applications for appointment to various civic boards, commissions, and committees are now being accepted by the City Clerk’s Office.  The deadline for receipt of applications is October 31, 2012.

All applications will be kept on file and reviewed throughout the year as openings occur.  All appointments are served on a voluntary basis, except for: the Board of Revision, the Saskatoon Licence Appeal Board, the Saskatoon Development Appeals Board, and the Property Maintenance Appeals Board.

Application forms can be obtained from the City Clerk’s Office, the Information Desk at City Hall, all leisure centres, and all public libraries.  Application forms are also available online at www.saskatoon.ca, search under “A” for Appointments to Boards and Committees.

We welcome any and all help!  In addition to board members, this includes people in our community not interested in actually being a board member, but perhaps able to help in other ways.  We are at times in need of trades people (i.e. electrical, plumbing or carpentry) who are willing to volunteer their time and knowledge to their community.  We may not always know who you are.  Tell us!  The AGM/bbq is a perfect time to get to know us and put your name in there.
