Transit Routes
Get to work or school in less than 30 minutes with new direct transit routes
The new University Direct #1 and #2 routes provide limited-stop service (stop only at key points along the way) from regular bus stops in Lakeview, Lakeridge and Lakewood to the U of S and back!
The direct service will operate Monday to Friday, except statutory holidays, around typical workday start and end times.
University Direct #1 – Lakeview & Lakeridge to U of S and back
Morning Service – 7:20 & 7:35
Afternoon Service – 5:00 & 5:15
University Direct #2 – Lakewood to U of S and back
Morning Service – 7:20 & 7:35
Afternoon Service – 5:05 & 5:20
Currently, passengers travelling downtown from these neighbourhoods use either Route 50 or 60, which takes about 50 minutes. Routes 50 and 60 will continue to operate as normal, stopping for passengers along the way. Garbage Collection in Wildwood
The City of Saskatoon has pick-up schedules/calendars for all homes that have automated garbage collection of individual roll-out carts. Additional calendars are available at your local library, Frances Morrison Library, and at the City Hall Information Desk.

Many people in Saskatoon already recycle and are making a difference in maintaining the high quality of life we all value. The new blue recycling cart program makes it easier for everyone to get involved to keep Saskatoon beautiful and preserve our enviroment. Watch for the Blue cart, Green city Information Guide and recycling collection calendar inside your blue cart.
