– Meeting called to order at 7:36pm

– Agenda approved.

Adoption of minutes from January 18, 2010 general meeting. Approved. Motioned by Todd Marien Second by Gary Baba. CARRIED

Community Consultant’s Report – Art Lord

– Report as attached.

– Information disclosure passed around to update board members contact information.

– Grant information is in as the deadline is April 30, 2010.

– Alison Kraft to turn in report by March 31, 2010 for Winter 2010 programs.

– Sherralee Hanson and Chantelle Diakuw to attend Indoor Coordinator Workshop scheduled on March 31, 2010.

– Mentioned the Volunteer Appreciation Night on April 29, 2010 and the Summer Employment Opportunities. Both are listed on the Report

– Wildwood Park was not booked for the Winter Fun Day. In the future, the park is to be booked by the secretary through the City of Saskatoon. Forms are available online.

Finance Report – Todd Marien

– January and February 2010 financial reports as attached. Todd summarized

– January 2010 financials motioned to approve by Todd Marien second by Sherralee Hanson. CARRIED.

– February 2010 financials motioned to approve by Todd Marien second by Jorgen Lorenzen. CARRIED.

– Todd has asked that the association start advertising for a new treasurer. He would like to have someone in place by fall 2010.

Indoor Activities Coordinator

Communications – Sherralee Hanson

– Having trouble with website. Unable to contact website design company and Steve Atkinson.

– Suggested that there be a drive to recruit more members for the board. Possible times would be at the upcoming registration night, a summer fun day, or a fall funday.

– Another member at large was signed up at the winter fun day.

– Winter Fun Day a success.

– In favor of a Fall Fun Day(End of August 2010) around the same time as the AGM and fall registration to promote the need for volunteers.

Rink – Jorgen Lorenzen

– March 15, 2010 as the last day for the rink to be open.

– Having trouble retaining rink supervisor.

– Discuss at the next meeting the possibility of fixing the rink nets and mesh around the rink boards.

– Questions raised about keeping Kinsmen Football at the park.

Member at large – Nicole Eramain

– Would like to advertise on the website for her non profit organization.

Secretary – Jerrett Bergovich

– Registration is booked for March 4, 2010 at the Wildwood School starting at 7:00pm.

– Booking for 2010-2011 board of director meetings can be scheduled in the later spring.
