Learn more about camping and outdoor safety this coming Sunday with this fun family activity hosted by Parks Canada and Wildwood Community Association!

Sunday July 7, 2019, from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM in Wildwood Park.

There is no registration needed and the event is totally free!

Program Description:

Are you interested in going camping for the first time or simply wanting to learn some important tips and tricks before heading out on your annual camping adventure? The focus of Parks Canada’s Learn-to Camp program is to create a connection between first-time campers and the Canadian camping experience, to build awareness of family health and wellness and to introduce families to a lifetime of outdoor activities. With camping-related games, demonstrations and interactive activities offered, families will learn more about camping and outdoor safety in a fun way.
