Nominate a Resident for the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal
On February 6, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II marked the 70th anniversary of Her Accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada, an unpreceded historic occasion. In celebration of this event, a commemorative medal is being struck by the Government of Saskatchewan.
It will honour the service of 7,000 deserving individuals across the province. The Queen Elizabeth Platinum Jubilee Medal will be a tangible way to recognize outstanding Saskatchewanians of all ages and from all walks of life, who have built and continue to build a strong, vibrant society and province through their service, contribution, and achievements.
If you would like to submit a nomination for a resident of Saskatoon Churchill-Wildwood, please note the following criteria:
- Individual is a resident of the constituency or has a tangible link to the constituency, at the time the medal is granted;
- Individual has made a significant contribution to Canada, Saskatchewan, or to a particular region or community; and
- Individual was alive on February 6, 2022, the 70th anniversary of Her Majesty’s Accession to the Throne.
Nomination forms are open from June 15 to October 31, 2022.
